What to Expect
Portrait sessions may take place at either my studio or on location, such as at a park. There will be an additional fee charged for on location sessions. My goal is to make all sessions be a relaxed, fun time for you and your children, as I think this is the best way to capture those priceless images you will treasure. You should plan on up to an hour and a half for a child session and about three hours for a newborn session, taking into account that it could be more or less. My sessions are never rushed. You are not pigeonholed into a set amount of time, as I know that with children we cannot predict what will happen. Newborns may need a lot of time for little snacks and diaper changes and children sometimes just need breaks and a chance to warm up and get in the mood. If possible, it is best to schedule sessions in the morning when they are at their best. Even if they don't take naps any longer, I've found that children seem to do much better before the day has really gotten under way. Before you arrive, please make sure their faces are sparkly clean! Use a warm, damp cloth, taking special care to clean around their eyes, nose and mouth. Things that we don't seem to see are always picked up by my camera.
And, aim to have a good time as I always do when I'm with your children.
